During GRAMMY® Week, on Saturday, February 11, Trin-i-tee 5:7 will perform at “Only In Louisiana,” a brunch sponsored by the Louisiana state government to honor the Louisiana GRAMMY® nominees—and to do business development for the Louisiana entertainment industry. Angel & Chanelle Deluxe Edition marks the duo’s seventh recording to date and the group’s transition from a trio to a duo. Their new single, “I Worship Your Name,” will impact gospel radio in March. The single, produced by Stan Jones, is a simple but powerful worship song that congregations will find memorable and will love to sing.
In 2011, the ladies were nominated for a Soul Train Music Award for Best Gospel Performance for their single, “Heaven Hear My Heart.” They were recently nominated for Group/Duo of the Year and Contemporary Group/Duo of the Year for this year’s 27th Stellar Gospel Music Awards. Angel & Chanelle debuted at #1 on both Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and the Top Christian/Gospel Albums chart. The CD also entered at #2 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, #5 on the Independent chart and #19 on the Billboard 200.
