Mathew Knowles Receives the Sister 2 Sister Iconic Empire Builder Award
Sister 2 Sister is throwing an anniversary bash to celebrate how far its come but also taking time to honor extraordinary men in the urban entertainment industry. Among the honorees Mathew Knowles will receive the Iconic Empire Builder Award. Stephen Hil, BET’s president of music, programming & specials, will be awarded as Maverick Music Producer.
The Sister 2 Sister 22nd Anniersary Bash takes place on November 9 in Atlanta. Kandi Burruss and Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed will host the event, which takes place one day before the Soul Train Awards.
Established in 1988, Sister 2 Sister is part of a dying breed as one of the last Black-owned publications to be sold nationwide. After attaining such a distinguished achievement, you’d want to celebrate, too!
